About David & Athletics

Athletics have always been a central part of how I connect movement, mindset, and learning. I’ve coached middle school basketball and baseball, led after-school sports programs in Minneapolis, and taught team-building and leadership as part of my work as a licensed K–12 Academic and Behavioral Strategist (ABS) teacher in Minnesota.

From yoga to football, from basketball courts to mountain trails, I’ve found that athletics teach more than skill — they teach focus, patience, and community. In Spark & Flow, sports become a powerful way to help students find confidence, regulate emotions, and develop a growth mindset both on and off the field.
